Also, he loved when I asked him about his past, it was his opportunity to talk about how great he was — the reality is it was the perfect opportunity to talk about the fake the image of himself he built to cover his inner and deepest insecurities. And he was convinced to be that person.

Regarding talking about getting back together, we didn’t. I went no contact and blocked him everywhere. Then he tried to contact me after two weeks using his brother’s number and I blocked him there too. That might be the reason he didn’t persist. However, deep down I think he didn’t beg me to get back together because he had already found another supply — it was clear to me during the devaluation phase.
